AWAY FORWARD TOGETHER

Welcome

I set up Away Forward Together to provide Trauma Informed Training and Consultancy because:

Trauma impacts everybody: individuals, teams, and organisations in ways we often don’t see. I believe in creating spaces that encourage understanding, resilience, and meaningful change. Through Away Forward Together, I am passionate about helping you and your businesses, leaders, and professionals integrate trauma-informed practices into their work and communities, because when we lead with empathy, we create stronger, healthier environments for all.

TESTIMONIALS

Elle, I have been privileged to know you in a number of roles over 25 years - more than half a lifetime. I see you as a woman of knowledge and wisdom, able to think strategically and operationally. I experience you as warm, supportive and a force for good who isn't afraid of a sparkly skirt.

Abi - Yellow Brick Road Projects

Elle, from Away Forward Together delivered a fantastic training session for the staff and volunteers from The Breastfeeding Network. She created a safe, engaging space to deepen our understanding of trauma-informed practices. Her knowledge and compassion made complex concepts easy to grasp, leaving us feeling more confident and prepared to support others. Highly recommend!

Lucy - Coordinator Portsmouth Breast Feeding Network

Elle delivered an exceptional Trauma-Informed Practice training session to the HIVE Portsmouth team, approaching this vital & sensitive subject with thoughtfulness, empathy & expertise.

She created a safe & supportive space for discussion, ensuring that everyone was able to engage with what can be a difficult topic.

Her knowledge & passionate approach made the training not only informative but also deeply impactful, and the team feel more confident in applying trauma-informed principles in our work.

I highly recommend Elle to any team looking for meaningful & insightful training in this area.

Lorna Reavley, Chief Officer, HIVE Portsmouth

Elle trained a group of multi-agency community providers in Trauma Informed approaches.  There were partners from several community groups such as youth work providers,  Cricket and Skateboarding organisations and Community Action Isle of Wight.  Elle was warm and passionate, her knowledge on Trauma Informed Practice along with her passion, creativity and enthusiasm really got the information and messages across. Several of the people on the course were young adults and they took away the clear understanding of how much their support can impact a young person and how they may be the only Trusted Adult they have. Fantastic Training we would love to have her back?

The feedback from all the delegates was 5 stars out of 5.
